Bug problem

Trying to figure out a solution for bug pattern on the river I fish? I'm going to put my bug design ability into effect this evening at my tying desk. I think I about have it figured out in my head how to accomplish it? To be continued...

When you go out fishing in the winter months, don't forget your rod and a flask of Beam. Leaving either one behind is not an option!

Doug Fisherman with one of a few nice one's today. Beautiful January weather (40's) all day today and some good  fish brought to the net. Today the fish were all about the caddis.

Went into Cheeseman Canyon this morning with seven mates and I think that the canyon is better left to the warmer part of year. Not at all cold today, but still a fair amount of snow on the steep rocks which made it very sketchy footing indeed.
